According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s economic adviser, Russian soldiers have damaged $100 billion in buildings, infrastructure, and other physical assets in Ukraine.

According to Oleg Ustenko, the conflict has forced the closure of 50% of Ukrainian firms.

Ustenko said the $100 billion in losses accounted for half of the country’s gross domestic product, despite the fact that the other enterprises are struggling to stay afloat (GDP).

He stated that Russian assets held in foreign institutions, including the central bank’s reserves, should be donated to Ukraine’s rehabilitation.

According to UN data, at least 549 people have died and 957 others have been injured in Ukraine since the conflict began. However, the international organization has insisted on its position.
