STM, a Turkish defense firm, will showcase its advanced defense technologies at DSA 2022, a major defense expo in Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur.

According to a press release issued by the firm, the firm will demonstrate Turkiye’s first national frigate, the MILGEM Ada Class Corvette, the Coast Guard Ship CG-3100, and tactical mini-UAV systems ALPAGU, KARGU, and TOGAN to Asia Pacific countries at the DSA 2022.

“We are excited to exhibit our naval projects and mini UAV systems, which we developed with our national engineering capabilities in Malaysia,” said Murat Guleryuz, the general manager.

“We want to sign important cooperation deals in Asia and improve the defense capacities of friendly and brotherly countries with our innovative solutions and human resources.”

According to the company’s website, STM is involved in collaborations, technology transfer, and business development activities in more than 20 countries, ranging from South America to the Far East.

“STM produces indigenous and flexible engineering solutions for the Turkish Navy’s surface and submarine platforms, as well as those of friendly and allied nations, to address specific needs and ensure more effective mission performance,” the company stated.

The Turkish security forces effectively use STM’s striker and observer UAV systems, which were developed with its own engineering and technology, in border security, including cross-border surveillance.
