Leaders of Turkey and Germany meet to discuss bilateral and regional issues.

In a phone call on Monday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz discussed bilateral and regional issues.

According to Turkiye’s Communications Directorate, the two leaders discussed Turkiye-Germany relations as well as regional issues, including the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Erdogan emphasized the importance of bolstering Ankara-Berlin ties as well as maintaining close cooperation at all levels.

The Turkish president also stated that his country has remained steadfast in its efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
