On Monday, HE Bihi Iman Egeh, Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, met online with Mr. Eric Mayer, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the United States Treasury Department for Middle East and African Affairs.
The discussion focused on economic reform, development plans following debt relief, and the government’s support for investment and initiatives for the underprivileged Somali people.
The Minister thanked the US government and people for their support and solidarity with the Somali government and people.
