Somali Magazine – Somalia’s aviation sector received a significant boost on Wednesday as the country’s first and only aircraft maintenance centre reopened after 34 years of shutdown.
The Blue Hanger facility, located near Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport, will provide safety and maintenance services for aircraft going into and out of Somalia.
Fardowso Igaal, Minister of Transport and Aviation, launched the facility and lauded its contribution to improving the country’s air connectivity and security.
