Somali Magazine –Manchester City defeated Brentford 3-1 in week 23 of the English Premier League on Monday, thanks to a hat-trick from midfielder Phil Foden.
Brentford’s Neal Maupay scored the first goal in the 21st minute with a right-footed effort into the bottom left corner.
Before the halftime break, Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden levelled the score with a left-footed strike.
Foden scored another goal in the 53rd minute with an excellent header to make it 2-1.
He finished his hat trick in the 70th minute with a left-footed effort into the bottom left corner of Brentford’s goal.
Manchester City is in second place with 49 points, two points behind leaders Liverpool in the rankings.
Brentford is in 15th place with 22 points.
