Olivier Giroud will sign a deal with the Los Angeles Football Club that runs through 2025, with an option for 2026.
“I am thrilled and pleased to join LAFC. I’m excited to travel to Los Angeles and play in front of the 3252 and all of the wonderful supporters,” Giroud said in a statement.
Giroud has won 11 major championships and scored approximately 300 goals in over 700 appearances for Montpellier, Arsenal, Chelsea, and AC Milan.
He won the 2021 UEFA Champions League and the 2019 UEFA Europa League with Chelsea.
The 37-year-old attacker helped France win the 2018 World Cup and the 2021 UEFA Nations League title.
