SIMAD University marked a major milestone as it celebrated its 25th anniversary, highlighting its commitment to quality education, innovation, and entrepreneurial growth in Somalia.
Founded in 1999, SIMAD University has grown from a small institution to one of Somalia’s most prestigious centers for higher education. Rector Abdikarim Muhiyadin, speaking at the celebratory event, emphasized the university’s vision of fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among students. “Our commitment has always been to produce graduates who can compete globally and contribute to Somalia’s development,” he stated.
