A landmine explosion in Mogadishu’s Kahda district has left seven people injured, including two government soldiers, raising fresh concerns about security threats in the Somali capital. The blast, which occurred on Friday, targeted a busy area where civilians frequently gather, causing severe injuries and prompting swift emergency response efforts.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud explosion before seeing smoke rise near the site.
