The President of the Northeastern regional state, Abdikadir Ahmed Ali, also known as Firdhiye, has announced the formation of his first Cabinet, consisting of 21 ministers. The decree, released by his office on Sunday, marks an important step in building a functioning administration for the newly recognized regional government.
The new Cabinet represents a mix of experienced political figures and fresh faces. Among the 21 ministers, one is a woman, and several others have previously served as members of parliament or held ministerial positions in the Puntland administration.
