Somalia establishes diplomatic relations with Dominican Republic following the official signing of a joint communiqué by both nations’ top diplomats during high-level meetings in New York. Somali Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdisalam Abdi Ali, and Dominican Republic Foreign Minister Víctor O. Bisonó Haza formalized the agreement on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
