Mogadishu, Somalia — Sahan Diagnostic Center has welcomed a high-level delegation from Yashoda Hospitals and HealthBridge in a significant engagement focused on strengthening healthcare cooperation, expanding access to specialized medical services, and exploring new opportunities for collaboration in Somalia. The visit brought together senior healthcare professionals and institutional leaders from both sides, reflecting a shared interest in advancing quality healthcare services, medical expertise, technology, and patient care.
The delegation was warmly received by Dr. Abdirahman Omar Sahal, Director of Sahan Diagnostic Center; Mr. Mohamud Abdullahi Diriye, General Manager; Dr. Saleh Abdukadir, Pathologist; and Isse Dahir Aden, Public Relations & Marketing Officer.
Representing Yashoda Hospitals and HealthBridge were Mr. Phanindra, Vice President of Yashoda Hospitals; Mr. Manoj, Manager of International Services; Ali Mao, CEO of HealthBridge and Head of Yashoda Hospitals in Somalia and Kenya; Dr. Aisha Dahir, Emergency Physician and Telemedicine Coordinator; Ruweyda Ali Mohamud, Counselor and Deputy Center Manager; and Abdimalik Mao, Head of Marketing and Finance.
The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to discuss areas of mutual interest within the healthcare sector, including diagnostic services, emergency medicine, telemedicine, specialist healthcare access, and opportunities for stronger institutional collaboration.
The engagement also highlighted the growing importance of partnerships between healthcare institutions in Somalia and international medical organizations in improving access to specialized healthcare, medical expertise, advanced technology, and quality diagnostic services.
Through collaborations of this nature, Sahan Diagnostic Center continues to explore opportunities to strengthen its healthcare services and establish meaningful partnerships that can contribute to improved healthcare outcomes for patients in Somalia.
