Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia signed Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo on a free transfer early Saturday.

The club shared a photo of Ronaldo wearing an Al-Nassr jersey on social media.
After leaving Manchester United, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner became a free agent in November.
He represented Portugal in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar this winter, but the Portuguese national team was eliminated in the quarterfinals against Morocco 1-0.
Ronaldo, 37, is a former Real Madrid, Juventus, and Manchester United forward who won national championships with each of those clubs.
He has also won the UEFA Champions League five times, four times with Real Madrid and once with Manchester United.
Separately, the seasoned forward led Portugal win the 2016 UEFA EURO title.
