Despite Israeli restrictions, around 60,000 Palestinian worshippers participated in the Eid al-Fitr prayer at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday, according to Palestinian news agency WAFA.
Palestinians have rushed to the Old City of Israeli-occupied Jerusalem since early in the morning to say the Eid prayer.
According to the Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem, some persons who were forcibly taken from Al-Aqsa conducted the prayer in the streets surrounding the mosque.
