Somali Magazine September 14,2023-Marco Verratti joined Qatari club Al-Arabi from Paris St Germain on Wednesday.
“The Al Arabi Club management has signed a contract with the Italian international star Marco Verratti, who is coming from Paris Saint-Germain, for a period of three years, thus concluding the number of our team’s professionals for the 2023-2024 sports season,” Al Arabi Club stated in a statement.
As a Paris Saint-Germain player, Verratti won nine league titles and six French Cups.
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old finished an 11-year stint with the Parisians.
PSG praised Verratti in a statement, adding, “An extraordinary reader of the game as well as an excellent ball winner, Verratti has also shone with his national team since making his debut for them in 2012.”
