SalamAir, one of Oman’s leading budget airlines, has announced the launch of flights to three new international destinations: Armenia, Kenya, and Somalia. Beginning December 28, 2024, SalamAir will offer weekly flights to Yerevan, Armenia’s capital. The flights are expected to support tourism growth and provide a convenient option for Omani travelers seeking new destinations.
SalamAir introduces Twice-Weekly Flights to Kenya’s Nairobi
On January 15, 2025, SalamAir will further expand its network in East Africa by introducing twice-weekly flights to Nairobi, Kenya. Known for its national parks, vibrant cities, and business opportunities, Kenya is a key destination for tourism and trade. The new flights are anticipated to strengthen economic ties between Oman and Kenya, promoting business travel as well as adventure tourism.
SalamAir introduces Flights to Somalia’s Capital, Mogadishu
SalamAir will also launch two weekly flights to Mogadishu, Somalia, starting January 16, 2025. This route will connect Oman with Somalia’s bustling capital, which is undergoing rapid development. The direct link aims to support business ventures, humanitarian work, and family visits, reflecting the growing interest in Somalia as a destination.
