Russian soldiers have arrived at the crash scene of a US Reaper drone that collided with a Russian fighter plane, according to US media, citing American authorities.
According to two US officials, Russians have arrived at the MQ-9 accident site in the Black Sea.
However, the news network said that it is unknown whether the US drone was recovered.
According to the Military, a Russian Su-27 fighter plane collided with the drone, causing it to crash in international seas.
Russia disputed the occurrence but stated that the debris of the drone would be recovered.
Earlier on Wednesday, White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby warned in an interview with CNN that it might be “difficult” to recover the remains of the drone.
