    A federal MP accused Speaker Madobe of obstructing a legislative motion on Las Anod.

    A member of the Somali Parliament, Sahro Bundubte, accused the Speaker of the Parliament, Adan Madobe, of blocking a move on the instability in Las Anod.

    In an interview with the media, MP Sahro Bundubte stated that more than 20 MPs were preparing to file a motion requesting that parliament consider the tense situation in Las Anod.

    The lawmakers expressed concern that the Somali parliament had kept silent on the massacre in Lasanod.

    Sahro accused Somaliland of employing its troops to strike residents protesting the massacre in the Sool region.

    “A motion was introduced by MPs to discuss the situation. What exactly is going on? Who is murdering these people and why are they being murdered? That was supposed to be the end of the discussion “She stated.

    “Legislators have the right to speak out in parliament. The Speaker should express his support for the many points of view expressed by the MPs “She continued.

    The MPs’ statement came amid violent protests in Las Anod, the administrative center of the Sool district.
