Somali Magazine – According to Palestinian state media, at least seven civilians, including children and women, were murdered in an Israeli bombardment on a refugee camp in central Gaza overnight.

According to local sources, several more were hurt as Israeli artillery battered a residence in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

There were additional casualties from an Israeli shelling of another house in the middle Gaza Strip’s Al-Zuwaida neighborhood.

According to Wafa, Israeli aircraft also damaged the city core of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Last Monday, the Israeli army ordered Palestinians living in the Nuseirat refugee camp and other places to leave their houses immediately and travel to the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

Since a cross-border attack by Palestinian group Hamas on Oct. 7, Israel has unleashed a large military operation in Gaza, a beleaguered Palestinian enclave, killing at least 21,110 Palestinians and wounded 55,243 others, mostly women and children, according to local health authorities.

The Hamas strike is thought to have killed around 1,200 Israelis.
