Arsenal’s English Premier League title ambitions were dashed on Sunday when they drew 2-2 with West Ham United.

The Gunners were unable to defend their two-goal lead at London Stadium.

Gabriel Jesus gave Arsenal an early lead in the seventh minute. Martin Odegaard made it 2-0 for the hosts three minutes later.

Said Benrahma equalized for West Ham with a penalty kick in the 33rd minute, and Jarrod Bowen equalized in the 54th.

Arsenal has settled for a draw for the second week in a row.

The Gunners have 74 points, while Manchester City, the reigning champions, are second in the leaderboard with 70 points.

Arsenal’s four-point lead over runners-up Manchester City is meaningless because City still has one game remaining.

The Gunners appear to be under pressure, since the next Premier League meeting between the two clubs is scheduled on April 26.
