    Aston Villa upset title challengers Arsenal 2-0 in London on Sunday, keeping Manchester City at the top of the English Premier League.

    Aston Villa’s Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins scored at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium.

    Manchester City defeated underdogs Luton Town 5-1 on Saturday, taking the Premier League lead for the first time since November 25.

    Following Liverpool’s unexpected 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace earlier Sunday and Arsenal’s slipup, Manchester City took command of the league.

    Defending champions Manchester City have 73 points from 32 games.

    Arsenal and Liverpool have 71 points each, behind the leaders.

    Aston Villa are fourth with 63 points.
