Somali magazine -Tuesday’s opening ceremony for the 31st Arab League Summit in Algiers, Algeria, was attended by Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.

A speech on the ongoing conflict between the Somali government and terrorist extremism is anticipated from President Mohamud.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abshir Omar Huruuse, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Elmi Mohamed Nur, and the Ambassadors to Egypt and Algeria are all part of the entourage led by the President.
The President will meet with the heads of Arab nations and international organizations during side events for the summit while he is in Algeria.
