    Azerbaijani Foreign Minister meets with FMs of Mongolia, Syria and Somalia

    Somali Magazine Jeyhun Bayramov, the foreign minister of Azerbaijan, met with Battsetseg Batmunkh, the minister of foreign affairs and expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic, Faisal Mikdad, and Abshir Omar Huruse, the minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation of Somalia, in New York during the high-level week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.

    The parties discussed bilateral relations, regional issues, the Non-Aligned Movement’s activities and cooperation, and other topics during the meetings.

    FM In the context of the Non-Aligned Movement, Jeyhun Bayramov thanked his colleagues for their support of Azerbaijan’s initiatives during the country’s chairmanship and updated them on the upcoming plans.

    The FMs of Mongolia, Syria, and Somalia expressed a desire to deepen bilateral ties and the Non-Aligned Movement framework for cooperation with Azerbaijan.

     

    Other local issues of common interest were also discussed by the parties.
