    Egypt and Somalia promise to increase collaboration amidst regional unrest.

    Somali Magazine – In a phone discussion on Tuesday, Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Egyptian President Abdulfatah Al-Sisi discussed recent regional developments as well as bilateral relations between their nations.

    The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the historical links that unite the Somali and Egyptian peoples, as well as to working together to address regional concerns like as security, stability, and development.

    President Mohamud commended President Al-Sisi for Egypt’s ongoing assistance to Somalia, particularly in education, health, and capacity building.

    He also praised Egypt’s participation in the African Union and the Arab League, as well as its efforts to promote peace and dialogue in the region.

    President Al-Sisi praised Somalia’s advances in the political, economic, and security areas, and reaffirmed Egypt’s willingness to aid Somalia in all forms of rehabilitation and development. He also emphasized the significance of strengthening bilateral cooperation and consultation on regional and international topics of mutual concern.
