England defeated Senegal 3-0 on Sunday to advance to the 2022 World Cup quarterfinals against France.

Jordan Henderson opened the scoring for England in the 38th minute with help from Jude Bellingham.

In the last seconds of the first half, England star Harry Kane scored his first goal in Qatar 2022 on a swift counterattack.

At Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar, the Three Lions had a 2-0 lead at the break.

After receiving a cross from the left flank from Phil Foden, England winger Bukayo Saka finished at close range in the 57th minute.

Thus, the Three Lions defeated the Lions of Teranga 3-0 with ease.

Despite Raheem Sterling’s absence on Sunday night, England was not in danger.

Due to a “family problem,” Sterling was not chosen to play against Senegal, England had already acknowledged on Twitter.

On Saturday at Al Bayt Stadium, England will play France in the following match.
