In Manchester City’s 3-0 victory over West Ham United on Wednesday, Erling Haaland scored a goal to give his team the 35th most goals ever in a single English Premier League season.

At the Etihad Stadium, Haaland scored again for the Sky Blues in the 70th minute to give Manchester City the lead after Nathan Ake’s header in the 50th minute.

With this goal, the Norwegian has surpassed both Andy Cole and Alan Shearer, who both had 34 goals, as the player with the most goals in a single Premier League season.

In the 85th minute, a long-range shot by Phil Foden gave Manchester a 3-0 lead.

With 79 points after 33 games, Manchester City, who has a game in hand, leads second-place Arsenal by one point.

With 34 points, West Ham United is in 15th place.
