    Fabinho, a Liverpool midfielder, has joined Saudi champions Al-Ittihad.

    Fabinho, a Brazilian midfielder for Liverpool, signed a three-year contract with Saudi champions Al-Ittihad on Monday.

    Al-Ittihad announced on X, previously Twitter, that Fabinho, 29, has signed a deal with the Jeddah club until 2026, joining French talents Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante, as well as Portuguese winger Jota.

    “I’m leaving my house today.” It’s been five years of wearing this shirt with the utmost honour and delight. “I’ve been welcomed by everyone at Liverpool since day one.”

    “…I really enjoy this club. Thank you for everything we’ve been through together, Reds. In a parting letter, Fabinho said, “You will never walk alone.”

    With Liverpool from 2018 to 2023, Fabinho won the UEFA Champions League, the English Premier League, the FIFA Club World Cup, and the English FA Cup.

    Prior to joining Liverpool, he won the French championship with Monaco in 2017.

    In 219 appearances for Liverpool, the Brazilian international scored 11 goals.
