    According to state-run media, a mass shooting in Thailand on Thursday left at least 30 people dead, mostly children.

    At least 30 people were killed when a shooter opened fire at a daycare center in the upper northeastern region of Nong Bua Lam Phu.

    Initial reports suggest 30 fatalities, the most of whom were children, according to Thai national broadcaster PBS News.

    The shooter also killed his wife and child, according to the article.

    He reportedly used to work for the police.
