In an airstrike and raid early on Monday against the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, the Israeli army murdered at least three Palestinians and injured another 13 people.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, three of the injured people are in critical condition.

Three missiles were fired by Israeli jets at a Jenin home, according to information gathered by Anadolu.

After the airstrike, the Israeli army used armoured military bulldozers to support a raid on the city and placed a siege on the Jenin refugee camp.

According to eyewitnesses, Israeli forces surrounded the home of Zakaria ez-Zebidi, the commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the armed wing of the Fatah movement.

Israeli aeroplanes continued to bomb the camp for a while, and the Israeli army also dispatched reinforcements to the region, according to eyewitnesses.

According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, one of those slain was named as Samih Firas Abu Al-Wafa, 21.

Israeli forces surrounded the camp throughout the raid, obstructing ambulances that were trying to transport the injured.

The Israel Defence Forces reported on Twitter that it was attacking terrorist installations in the Jenin region.

Following the airstrike on the Jenin refugee camp, the Israeli army reportedly moved on the ground, according to Israeli public television KAN.
