Somali Magazine – The construction of a state Ministry of Health facility in Jubbaland State was inaugurated by Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre and Jubbaland State President Ahmed Mohamed Islam. The health center opens at a critical juncture in the region’s response to flood-related health concerns.
In addressing the importance of the new health center, Prime Minister Hamza emphasized the importance of taking early efforts to battle diseases that have emerged as a result of the floods. He instructed federal and state health ministries to maintain vigilance, notably in the prevention of infectious diseases caused by contaminated water. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of having a clear and effective plan in place to protect civilians from health concerns.
Plans were presented to the leadership of Jubbaland’s Ministry of Health in a meeting to address the consequences of torrential rains and explain various services targeted at aiding the Jubbaland community.
