Somali Magazine – Juventus’ title hopes in the Italian football league suffered a setback on Monday as visitors Udinese won 1-0 in Turin.

Lautaro Giannetti, an Argentine defender for Udinese, scored the winning goal in the 25th minute at Allianz Stadium.

Juventus has 53 points in 24 matches and is currently in second place.

They are only one point ahead of third-placed AC Milan.

Inter Milan, with a game in hand, leads the Italian Serie A by seven points.

Udinese is in the bottom half of the table with 22 points.

Inter took solid control of the Serie A title race against Juventus on February 4 with a 1-0 win in the Derby d’Italia at Milan’s Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.

Inter will not face Juventus again during the 2023-24 Serie A season.

Inter last won the Serie A in the 2020-21 season.

Juventus’ last Scudetto win came in 2020.
