    Kylian Mbappe vows to aid Türkiye quake victims at every opportunity

    Kylian Mbappe, the French football sensation for Paris Saint-Germain, committed on Wednesday to do everything he could to help earthquake victims in Turkey.

    “A terrible disaster in Turkey. The entire football community will come together to support Turkey. This assistance is really vital to me. An amazing responsibility, “he declared during a broadcasted event to raise funds for the survivors of two earthquakes that struck Japan early last month.

    On Twitter, he also tweeted Turkish flag and prayer emojis for Türkiye.

    “Of sure, people’s and children’s dreams are quite essential. I believe we can bring back the smiles of many youngsters “Mbappe expressed his delight at being a part of the fundraising drive.

    The 24-year-old footballer joined PSG from Monaco in 2017 and has since won four French Ligue 1 titles with the club. He also won the 2018 FIFA World Cup with France.

    He was speaking during the “shoulder-to-shoulder” aid campaign coordinated by Turkey’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Turkish Football Federation, the Super League Clubs Association Foundation, and beIN Media Group, which was carried live on several sports stations.

    Aside from beIN-affiliated TV networks, the program was carried live by Turkish broadcasters A Sports, Sportstv, D Smart Sports, S Sport, Tivibu Sports, TRT Spor, TV8 and Club TVs, TRT Radio, Radio Gol, Radyospor, and League Radyo, as well as several digital media outlets.

    More than 45,000 people were killed in the magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 earthquakes that rocked Hatay, Gaziantep, Adiyaman, Malatya, Adana, Diyarbakir, Kilis, Osmaniye, Sanliurfa, and Elazig on February 6, centered in Kahramanmaras.
