Somali Magazine – On Wednesday, Lazio narrowly defeated 10-man Bayern Munich in the opening leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.

Neither team scored in the first half, but in the 67th minute, Gustav Isaksen was hauled down in the area by Dayot Upamecano, and Lazio was awarded a penalty.

Upamecano, a French defender, was sent off with a straight red card, reducing Bayern Munich to ten men in Rome’s Stadio Olimpico.

After two minutes, Ciro Immobile successfully converted the penalty kick, and the Italian club won the last-16 game.

In another Wednesday encounter, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Real Sociedad 2-0. Kylian Mbappe scored in the 58th and Bradley Barcola in the 70th minutes of the second half at Paris’ Parc des Princes.

The second leg of each tie will take place on March 5.
