    Leverkusen defeats Leipzig to extend their winning streak in the Bundesliga. 3-2

    Bayer Leverkusen defeated Leipzig 3-2 on Saturday, continuing their unbeaten streak in the German Bundesliga.

    Leipzig’s teenage Dutch forward Xavi Simons scored in the bottom corner of the net in the seventh minute at Red Bull Arena, giving the hosts an early lead.

    Nigerian attacker Nathan Tella’s close-range goal equalized in the 47th minute.

    Lois Openda, a Belgian attacker, restored Leipzig’s advantage with a first-time goal in the 56th minute.

    German defender Jonathan Tah’s header tied the game.

    Piero Hincapie, an Ecuadorian defender, scored the game-winning goal in the 91st minute for Bayer Leverkusen.

    Bayer Leverkusen leads the league with 48 points, while Leipzig is in fourth place with 33 points.
