Neymar has left Paris Saint-Germain to join Saudi club Al Hilal.
“I am here in Saudi Arabia, and my name is HILALI,” the 31-year-old actress said in a video message posted on Twitter.
The duration and financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Paris Saint-Germain president and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi stated in a farewell message: “It is always difficult to say goodbye to an amazing player like Neymar, one of the best players in the world.”
“I will never forget the day he arrived at Paris Saint-Germain, and what he has contributed to our Club and our project over the last 6 years,” he stated on the PSG website.
In 2020, Neymar will lead PSG achieve their first-ever UEFA Champions League final. He also assisted Barcelona in winning the Champions League in 2015 and two Spanish La Liga titles in 2015 and 2016.
