Somali Magazine- Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has been crowned Manager of the Season.

“I’m overjoyed; it’s a tremendous honour.” “I promise you that next season we will be there to fight again to dignify this league as much as possible,” Guardiola said, according to the Premier League website.

Guardiola won the prize for a fourth time. He also received the honour following title-winning seasons in 2017/18, 2018/19, and 2020/21.

He now has the second most Manager of the Season honours, trailing only Sir Alex Ferguson, who has won it 11 times.

The Sky Blues have won the Premier League Trophy seven times, five of which have been under Guardiola’s leadership.

The 52-year-old Spaniard has the opportunity to lead the City to an unprecedented treble.

Manchester City will face Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, before facing Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final on June 10.

The match will be the first FA Cup final between the two Manchester clubs in the 151-year history of the domestic football competition.
