In his speech, President Mohamud emphasized Somalia’s development despite substantial security and climate concerns. He emphasized the nation’s success in modernizing its financial institutions, resulting in debt alleviation and increasing domestic revenue growth.
The President also discussed Somalia’s efforts to overcome severe climate-related adversity, including as droughts and recurring floods, demonstrating the government’s dedication to overcoming these obstacles and fostering sustainable development.
