A Gedo politician has reacted angrily to Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni’s recent remarks on the new local administration.
Deni’s words, according to Osman Haji Noor, the new administration’s Deputy Chairman, were incorrect.
President Deni recently stated that Gedo citizens should be prepared for an administration that lacks public support.
Such assertions were disputed by Noor.
He went on to say that the Puntland leader is just interested in influencing the people of Gedo to back his ambition for a longer tenure in power.
