    Somali Magazine – On Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Moscow and Ankara will continue to strengthen their political discussion and fruitful cooperation in a variety of areas in 2024.

    In a New Year statement published on the Kremlin’s website, Putin congratulated his Turkish colleague Recep Tayyip Erdogan, noting that Russia and Turkey “have been quite effective in developing their multi-faceted cooperation” in recent years.

    “The two countries collaborated on major energy and infrastructure projects, as well as efforts to resolve regional conflicts.” In 2024, Moscow and Ankara will continue to develop their political conversation and constructive cooperation in a variety of fields, which is expected to benefit their friendly states and contribute to the Eurasian continent’s security and stability,” the message said.

    Russia and Turkey have been actively pursuing economic cooperation in a variety of fields, including agriculture and the energy sector. The two countries also set an ambitious objective of increasing bilateral trade turnover to $100 billion, and according to the presidents’ evaluations, the two countries “are successfully approaching” the aim.
