    Qatar and Somalia sign an MoU for legal cooperation.

    On Sunday, Qatar and Somalia signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to cooperate on legal matters.

    The MoU was signed by HE the Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Ibrahim bin Ali bin Issa al-Hassan al-Mohannadi, and the visiting Somali Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Hassan Mo’allin Mohamoud.

    According to the Ministry of Justice, the MoU intends to strengthen bilateral cooperation in a variety of legal disciplines.

    Following the signing, the Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs met with Somalia’s Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, along with his team. They discussed methods to improve legal cooperation between the countries.

    Following the discussion, the visiting Somali group received an overview of Qatar’s legal expertise in real estate registration and attestation, legal training, and public service. The Somali minister lauded Qatar’s legal experience and stated that the visit has expanded opportunities for legal cooperation.
