    Scotland recorded a 1-1 tie with Switzerland in EURO 2024.

    Scotland was beaten to a 1-1 draw against Switzerland in a EURO 2024 Group A encounter on Wednesday.

    Scott McTominay scored a close-range goal for Scotland in the 13th minute at Cologne Stadium in Germany.

    In the 26th minute, Xherdan Shaqiri scored a long-range rocket to tie Switzerland with Scotland.

    Dan Ndoye scored for Switzerland in the 33rd minute, but the video assistant referee (VAR) disallowed the goal owing to an offside ruling.

    Switzerland’s Breel Embolo scored in the 82nd minute, but it was deemed offside.

    Germany won 2-0 over Hungary in Group A earlier on Wednesday, increasing their lead to six points.

    Switzerland is second with four points, Scotland is third with one, and Hungary remains at the bottom of the group with no points.
