    Some members of the delegation accompanying the Somali president on his first overseas trip since being elected last month have reportedly been quarantined in the United Arab Emirates.

    Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and a delegation led by him left for the United Arab Emirates on Sunday.

    According to a post on Somali social media, Hassan Sheikh’s tour to the nation is scheduled to last two days, but he has been gone for longer.
    People were enquiring as to the president’s presence.

    A close source to the eldest told Somali Magazine that some of the delegation traveling with the president had discovered symptoms consistent with corona virus illness.

    a Close Source told SOMALI MAGAZINE the president was in good health but due to reasons found COVID19 symptoms by some in his delegation they reported a postponement of his meetings with the UAE leadership.

    The viral load in the UAE rose from 200 a day to more than 1,400 daily reached this week, but doctors said fewer people needed hospital treatment and fewer patients had bronchitis or cold.

    They added that the meetings could take place this afternoon.
