Mogadishu, SOMALI MAGAZINE. H.E. Mr. Isaak Mohamud Mursal, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received the Deputy Head of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Somalia, Ms. Prestage Murima, on Wednesday in his office at the Ministry in the capital, Mogadishu, and discussed with her strategies for strengthening cooperation and coordination to increase diaspora engagement in national development initiatives.
The discussions focused on executing the national diaspora policy and developing effective tactics to involve the diaspora community in various development efforts, with Somalia emphasizing its proactive approach to harnessing external experience and resources for long-term socioeconomic advancement.
