Somali Magazine 4 September 2023- H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, travelled to Doha, Qatar on Monday with a delegation after receiving an official invitation from Qatar’s emir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
In their attempts to restore and reconstruct the Somali state, Qatar has been the principal partner of the Somali state and institutions.
Qatar and Somalia established diplomatic ties in 1970, and both nations are Arab League members. In many areas, including economic, investment, and development cooperation, the two countries enjoy distinguished and robust links.
