The release of Somali Magazine Issue 66 marks an important milestone in recognizing excellence, determination, and structural progress across our territory and the global diaspora. What began as a dedicated media initiative has grown into a highly respected platform bringing together leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, and cultural figures under a shared vision of development.
This current edition reflects both our collective growth and international credibility, highlighting the diverse contributions of our people to East Africa’s expanding economic momentum. In alignment with this vision, we are proud to announce that the 7th Edition of the SOBA Awards is officially underway to continue celebrating Somali excellence. This year’s highly anticipated Gala Dinner and Award Night will take place on August 20th, 2026, hosted in Mogadishu, Somalia.
At its core, this month’s publication actively amplifies stories of deep community resilience, unyielding hard work, and lasting societal impact. Whether examining the brilliant minds reshaping our physical cities or celebrating individuals who stand tall on the global stage, the underlying narrative remains unchanged. Every obstacle overcome represents the broader evolution of a people who refuse to be defined by temporary setbacks.
