    – The Federal Electoral Implementation Team (FEIT) announced that 200 members of parliament from both houses had been certified.

Abdirahman Abdishakur Warsame, a presidential candidate, and Khadija Almakhzoumi, a former Somali ambassador to Pakistan, were among the MPs who received certificates on Sunday.
However, the majority of lawmakers elected to the Southwest state government are not among those receiving certificates, as the state’s president, Abdiaziz Laftagaren, has suspended cooperation with Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble on election matters. He accused the Prime Minister of “withholding seats” from the federal member state and violating the electoral commissions’ independence.

The commission began issuing certificates to the 11th parliament’s elected members on Saturday. The swearing-in ceremony for newly elected MPs, on the other hand, will take place in Mogadishu on April 14th.
