Bayern Munich confirmed on Tuesday that Thomas Muller’s contract with the German Bundesliga club had been extended.

According to a club release, the experienced attacker will remain with the Bavarians until June 30, 2025.

“I’m happy that my journey at FC Bayern is continuing,” the 34-year-old remarked. “I want to contribute to our continued success as a team and as a club.” It’s crucial to me to serve as a foundation and guide the team in the proper way. I want to excite our fans with goals, by assisting in the creation of goals, by my love of the game, by my passion for football – and perhaps with many more titles.”

Muller won 12 Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich, in addition to two UEFA Champions League trophies and two FIFA Club World Cups.

He also scored 45 goals in 126 games for Germany, helping them win the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
