During her visit to the UK, Olena Zelenska, the first lady of Ukraine, will make a speech to British legislators on Tuesday.

On Monday, Akshata Murty, the wife of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, welcomed Zelenska to Downing Street.

She recently spoke at a global conference on preventing sexual violence in war, where she warned that as Russia’s war on Ukraine continues, sexual violence is being committed “systematically and openly.”

In his first encounter with President Volodymyr Zelenksyy earlier this month, Sunak visited Kyiv and underlined the UK’s support for Ukraine.
