According to the Istanbul grain export agreement, four more ships departed Ukrainian ports on Sunday, according to the Turkish National Defense Ministry.
According to the ministry’s Twitter account, two ships departed from the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk, while others left from Odesa and Yuzhny ports.
A ship from Ukraine and five others headed there would also be inspected, it was stated, in the region north of Istanbul.
A deal was made last month by Turkey, the UN, Russia, and Ukraine to restore grain exports from the Ukrainian Black Sea ports of Yuzhny, Chornomorsk, and Odesa, which had been suspended owing to the now six-month-old Russia-Ukraine war.
To manage the supplies, a Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul has been established with representatives from the three nations and the UN.
27 of the 51 ships that went after the agreement, according to Defense Minister Hulusi Akar on Saturday, left Ukraine.
