According to the Syrian regime’s news agency SANA, Israeli airplanes launched an airstrike on Aleppo airport in northeastern Syria early Wednesday.
According to the news agency, missiles were fired into Aleppo International Airport, causing “material damage.”
According to SANA, “the Israeli enemy conducted an aerial act of aggression with a number of missiles from the direction of the Mediterranean Sea, west of Lattakia, targeting the region of Aleppo International Airport.”
There were no recorded casualties.
Since the start of the Syrian civil war in 2011, Israel has taken out many airstrikes against Iranian-backed militias and the Syrian regime’s positions.
